We are also a specialist in inkjet nozzles manufacturing.
Jinping's long years of experience in manufacturing wire die of
very fine hole diameter (minimum hole diameter 0.009 mm) has led
us to produce customized high precision inkjet nozzles with nozzle
hole made of natural diamond. Natural diamond has the following
advantages for nozzle hole: very high wear-resistance and very
high polished finish inside hole geometry, because of natural
diamond's monocrystalline characteristic.
Technical facts and tolerances:
The nozzle hole sizes we manufactured are: 38 micron, 40 micron,
45 micron, 50 micron, 53 micron, 60 micron, 65 micron, 66 micron,
70 micron and 75 micron.
For all above hole diameters, we manufacture nozzles according
to the following tolerances: Hole diameter tolerance ¡Ü 0.5 micron
Hole ovality ¡Ü 0.5 micron
Normally there are following quality problems in inkjet nozzles:
Line formed by ink droplets is not straight: mainly result from
bad hole geometry and the coarse inside of hole. So the inside
geometry requires an optimal design for best flow properties,
and the hole inside geometry's design and drill completed by computerized
laser machine, and then professional ultrasonic grinding, lapping,
polishing and cleaning give the inside of nozzle hole a very high
polishing finish.
Bad ejection of ink: when ink ejected out of the nozzle hole it
usually deviates from the right position. First, we make nozzle
hole which is absolutely vertical on the nozzle plate, then we
need a technical drawing of inkjet nozzles with all the precise
dimensions and tolerances indicating, especially the nozzle fixed
dimension (onto printer) is more important, because the dimension
precise or not will exert a big influence on the ejection of ink.
Sometimes ink cannot be ejected from the nozzle hole: since there
is a little bit difference for bearing length between each nozzle,
it is necessary to adjust mechanical pressure on the ink, forcing
ink out of the nozzle hole chamber.
